As a Javascript developer based out of SocialTwist’s Hyderabad office, you would be required to fearlessly work on various cutting edge technologies. More often than not, you would dive into unknown areas, build prototypes, gain expertise and deliver robust functional features.

You would need to find creative solutions in designing and implementing new features and maintaining existing code in our codebase. The nature of work could be as diverse as implementing complex Javascript/HTML user interactivity to developing connectors for various social networks to building reusable social components.

You will work on building sustainable solutions – both new ones as well as extensions on top of our large codebase. An willingness to face tight deadlines and do whatever it takes to get the job done should be second nature for you

What we are looking for in you

• 2-3 years hands-on experience in Javascript based development
• Strong in object-oriented Javascript
• Ability to debug Javascript applications
• Experience with jQuery or similar frameworks
• Experience with HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS 3
• Familiarity with MVC and Javascript patterns
• Designing/Modelling of reusable UI components & frameworks
• Experience with server-side web frameworks

SocialTwist is seeking a talented User Interaction Designer who will build user interface design concepts and prototypes for the next generation of SocialTwist products. Successful candidates will become key members of a rapidly-expanding usability team that is focused on developing innovative products that maximize ease-of-use for a wide range of end-users.

As an Interaction Designer based out of SocialTwist's Hyderabad office, you will be involved in building mockups for prospects/customers, infographics for marketing collaterals and user interface development including design conceptualization to final HTML/CSS for SocialTwist’s products. You will work to actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness and desirability of SocialTwist products in collaboration with Product Managers, the development team and other stakeholders.

You will assist Lead Interaction Designer with creating art assets and resources, work closely with the usability team members, product managers, development team and other internal stakeholders to build storyboards, proof-of-concept mockups, demos and prototypes of proposed and planned applications and features for SocialTwist. You will also conduct ongoing research of web-based user interface development best practices.

You will be the point of contact for big brands customers and ensure that pre-flight checks, creative delivery, legal and compliance issues are taken care of.

• Strong visualization skills, with specific expertise with web-based applications
• Fluency with web standards and technologies including CSS and HTML
• Knowledge of usability and coding practices for accessibility
• Strong web graphics production capability and practioner experience with Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Illustrator
